Welcome! As specialists in industrial and naval carpentry, we at the Lorenzoni Shipyard in Livorno have been in business since the 1930s in the marine diesel engine repair sector.

In the first post-war period we started selling Ansaldo engines and from the early '60s we started on VM engines initially for the merchant navy, and then for pleasure boat clients. In the following years, the need arose to combine, in addition to sales, a mechanical workshop service for the assembly and fitting out of merchant ships and pleasure boats.

Our workshop activity has increased and gradually the company has come to specialise in the production of fittings and all the processes that revolve around the vessels. Due to our decades of experience in the field, we are able to deliver and realise complete boats in steel.

Our history from the 2000s
to today.

In the 2000s, the shipyard was moved inside the Port of Livorno where, in addition to iron working, the shipyard also deals with the naval and nautical refitting of boats in iron, fibreglass and in wood – thanks to our new and specialised team.

Today, the Lorenzoni Shipyard, in its third generation, continues with the sales, assistance and spare parts warehouse of marine engines and generators. Thanks to our new 7,000-square-metre construction area by the sea and to our 150 tonne lift, we can offer a complete service for hauling, launching, storage and working on any type of craft, both for work and pleasure, and up to 35 metres in length.

For our naval carpentry services and more we offer the expertise and professionalism of real specialists in the sector. We offer 24-month commercial warranties and 12-month work contracts, free estimates and we are open every day from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, plus Saturday morning from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
