VM Motori is specialised in the design, development and construction of diesel engines. The Lorenzoni Shipyard is one of the most popular companies for the sale, supply of spare parts and repair of marine engines designed by VM Motori.
Cutting-edge technology for engines
VM Motori achieves a high level of reliability thanks to long-lasting tests they perform on their engines, using modern equipment available at the Cento plant (Italy).
The final approval of the engines culminates with a series of demanding tests carried out directly in the final work environments, which is necessary to guarantee safety and functionality and is appreciated by the most demanding customers.
VM Motori applications
The VM applications currently in production are for:
- Automotive engines: 3, 4 cylinders in line and 6 cylinders in V;
- "On-road" industrial engines: R750 series;
- "Off-road" industrial engines: D700 series; D750 series; R750 series;
- Stationary industrial motors: D700 series; D750 series; R750 series; SUN series;
- Fire engines: D700 series; D750 series;
- Motors for generating sets: D700 water series; SUN air series.
